Michael Ligaliga
Michael Fusi Ligaliga currently serves as the Director of the David. O McKay Center for Intercultural Understanding. He was born in New Zealand but spent most of his life in Samoa. He graduated from BYU-Hawaii in April 2010 with a degree in Political Science and a certificate in International Peace Building. Upon graduating, Michael received a full Pacific Island scholarship to attend the National Center for Peace and Conflict Studies (NCPACS) at the University of Otago, New Zealand where he completed his Post Graduate and Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies in 2011. In 2012 Michael returned with his family to BYU-Hawaii to take up the Graduate Intern position at the David O. McKay Center for Intercultural Understanding. In that position he overlooked all of the Center's projects as well as teaching Conflict Transformation Mediation classes. On April 9th 2014, Michael became the second Director of the David O. McKay Center replacing Dr. Chad Ford. Besides his responsibilities as the new Director, Michael loves spending time with his wife Faalima, who is also a BYU-H graduate, and their two children Joanie Anela and Leahcim Landonn.

Seth Young is a recent graduate of BYU-Hawaii serving as one of the Field Directors for the McKay Center. He grew up in Tucson, Arizona and has always had a passion for serving and helping others.
